Tips for writing a good search term

DO: be specific and combine several related terms, separated by commas

DON'T use a single word as your search term, unless it's very specific/technical

DON'T include the location in your search term. It won't work (if your search term is rails california, you'll just get tweets that contain both words in them)

If your search term has only one or two words but it's about a specific technology, it'll probably work great. For example, rails or python

But if your search term is too vague, like logo, you'll probably get a lot of results that are not relevant.
A much better search term would be logo design, logo creation, for instance

Below are some examples of search terms that won't probably get you relevant results, and an alternative search term that from my experience would work better.

BAD search termsMy suggestion instead
arabicarabic localisation, arabization, arabic translator, arabic content writer, arabic content creator
designgraphic designer, logo designer, web design, web designer, ux, ui, user experience design, user interface design
consultantstragecy consultant, marketing consultant, business consultant
firewallsysadmin, devops, infosec, cybersecurity
